Covelo has more bars and restaurants, supermarket, doctors surgery, bank and chemist and is well connected to the larger towns of Ponteareas and A Caniza. Beyond Ponteareas is Vigo, a modern City with popular beaches and extensive harbours. At one end are the quiet bays and warm waters of Cangas and at the other end, the busy tourist town of Baiona. Vigo airport offers a variety of internal flights as well as a regular service to London and Paris.
