BOOKING CONFIRMATIONN
The acceptance of your booking and payment of the deposit means you have read and agreed with the terms and conditions.
Once your booking is confirmed Galiciaholiday.com will email you with a copy of your booking confirmation.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
Once you have confirmed your holiday you must pay a deposit, within three working days.
Full payment is required at time of booking for car hire reservations.
The balance, as specified on your booking confirmation, is due at your arrival at the villa, hotel or activity.
INSURANCE
All clients must have adequate holiday insurance, which you may arrange with an insurance agent of your choice, as we do not include or issue holiday insurance. We recomend you to email to us a copy of your holiday insurance for our reference.
CHANGES & CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT
Any changes or cancellation must be made in writing, together with the return of any travel documents.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
I. For cancellation more than 60 days prior to the start of the holiday; the deposit paid.
II. For cancellation 59 to 30 days prior to the start of the holiday; 50% of accommodations costs.
III. For cancellation from 29 days prior to the start of the holiday; full accommodation costs.
CHANGES & CANCELLATION BY THE SUPPLIERS
We reserve the right to make changes to your holiday arrangements after we have confirmed your booking; if we have to do so, we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible and will make suitable alternative arrangements.
If it is a minor change, we will do our best to notify you, but we are under no obligation to do so or to pay you compensation.
If it is a major change, or if we have to cancel your holiday before the departure date, we will try our upmost to make suitable alternative arrangements eg if the property you have booked becomes unavailable, we will try to find you suitable alternative accommodation.
Should you decide that the changed arrangements are not suitable, we will refund all monies paid.
Compensation will not be considered appropriate eg in cases where a major change has to be made as a result of force majeure.
Force majeure is anusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which neither we nor our suppliers could avoid, examples of which are war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers, or other similar events beyond our control.
COMPLAINTS
In the event that you feel you have cause for complaint during one of our holidays please report the matter to us without delay. We ask that you give us reasonable time to try to help you.
We act as booking agents to property owners and therefore accept no responsability for any complaints which may arise during your stay however we do pass these on to the property owners and try to resolve any complaint in the best way possible(see section on responsabilty).
If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved at the time, you should write to us within 14 days following the end of the holiday.
OUR SUPPLIERS
The relevant supplier's terms and conditions will apply to all arrangements made between them and you, the client.
PASSPORT / VISAS
British and other EU citizens require a full passport for travel to Spain.If you are from outside the EU, you will need to check on wether you need a visa. Spain is in the Schwengen group of countries. There are no health requirements.
SPECIAL REQUESTS
We are pleased to try and help with any special requests that they may have, but cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet all such demands.
TRAVEL DELAY
If you suffer a transport delay at the outward or homeward point of departure, we will endeavour to offer what help we reasonably can. We will not be responsible for supplying any extra accommodation or refreshment; the relevant transport provider may do so.
RESPONSIBILTY
Galiciaholiday.com and its representatives act soley as booking agents between
the client and the property owner. The property owner is responsible for
the conditions of the property and any complaints should be directed to
the property owner although we will aid in whatever way possible.
Galiciaholiday.com accepts no responsability for
any injuries or damage which may occur while using the property.
CAR HIRE
Full payment at time of booking.
