BOOKING CONDITIONS
Please read these Booking Conditions and holiday information carefully, since they, along with the other information on this website, set out the terms and conditions of the contract between you and Galicia Holiday.
We act as the booking agent for the suppliers of the component parts of the holidays we organise and, as such, bookings for their services will form a direct contract between you and the relevant supplier and will be subject to that suppliers standard terms and conditions.

1. Website Accuracy
We take great care to make this website accurate. Because changes outside our control may occur we reserve the right to change any facilities, services or prices contained herein. We will tell you of any change before you make a booking. Scenic pictures on this website are to convey an impression of the region, but may not have been taken in the immediate vicinity of the location or accommodation on the web page on which they appear.

2. Making a Booking and paying a deposit
The acceptance of your booking and payment of the deposit means you have read and agreed with our terms and conditions.

2.1 Your party leader should complete a Booking Form with all relevant details, including any special requests, send it back to us on behalf of all members of your party with the appropriate booking deposit. You will then receive a confirmation invoice. The contract between us is made when we issue your confirmation invoice.
The reservation deposit must be paid to Galicia Holiday within 5 working days.

2.2 The balance is due 60 days before arrival or can be paid at your arrival at the accommodation as specified on your confirmation invoice.
The party leader will be responsible for payment for everyone named on the booking form, even if some names were added after the initial booking was made. If you do not pay the balance by the due date, we may cancel your booking and levy the appropriate cancellation charge set out below.

2.3 About 4 to 2 weeks before departure, you will receive and information pack with all the neccessary accommodation and villa owners or representative details and information about the arrival arrangements and key allocation.

2.4 Only those persons named on the booking form may occupy the villa. Any additional persons added or changes made to the booking by you, once it has been confirmed, must be approved by Galiciaholiday.com.

3. Changes & Cancellations made by the client:
Any changes or cancellation must be made in writing, together with the return of any travel documents.

Any date changes made to a confirmed booking will be charged with a fee of 30 Euros.

If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking our Cancellation charges are as follows:

For bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to the start of the holiday; the deposit paid.
30 to 60 days to the start of the holiday; 50% of accommodations costs.
15-30 days to the start of the holiday; 75% of accommodations costs.
1-15 days to the start of the holiday; 100% of accommodations costs.
Accommodation swap is considered a cancellation and therefore will be charged.

Cancellation Insurance Available. Please email us to request information about our cancellation insurance.

4. Changes & Cancellations made by the suppliers
We reserve the right to make changes to your holiday arrangements after we have confirmed your booking; if we have to do so, we will inform you as soon as is reasonably possible and will make suitable alternative arrangements.

If it is a minor change, we will do our best to notify you, but we are under no obligation to do so or to pay you compensation.

If it is a major change, or if we have to cancel your holiday before the departure date, we will try our upmost to make suitable alternative arrangements eg if the property you have booked becomes unavailable, we will try to find you suitable alternative accommodation.
Should you decide that the changed arrangements are not suitable, we will refund all monies paid.

Compensation will not be considered appropriate eg in cases where a major change has to be made as a result of force majeure.
Force majeure is anusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which neither we nor our suppliers could avoid, examples of which are war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or adverse weather conditions, level of water in rivers, or other similar events beyond our control.

5. Complaints
We act as booking agents to property owners and therefore accept no responsability for any complaints which may arise during your stay however we do pass these on to the property owners and try to resolve any complaint in the best way possible.
In the event that you feel you have cause for complaint please report the matter to us without delay and before you leave the property. We ask that you give us reasonable time to try to help you.

6. Responsability
Galiciaholiday and its representatives act soley as booking agents between the client and the property owner. The property owner is responsible for the conditions of the property. Galiciaholiday accepts no responsability for any personal injuries or damages which may occur while using the property.

7. Breakage Deposit
A breakage deposit will be included requested in some villas and must be paid up on arrival to our representative or villa owner in Euros. The breakage deposit will be refunded on the day of your departure, minus any damage costs. All breakages must be reported to our local representative immediately.

8. Arrival/Departure at your Villa
In order that our villas are prepared for new arrivals, we ask clients to vacate their accommodation by 12.00 am. It can take more than three hours to prepare your accommodation on changeover day and it is possible that the maid may be finishing her duties when you arrive.

8. Our Suppliers
The relevant suppliers terms and conditions will apply to all arrangements made between them and you, the client.

9. Passports / Travel Documents
British and other EU citizens require a full passport for travel to Spain. If you are from outside the EU, you will need to check on wether you need a visa. Spain is in the Schwengen group of countries. There are no health requirements.

10. Special Requests
We are pleased to try and help with any special requests that you may have, but cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet all such demands.

11. Travel Delay
If you suffer a transport delay at the outward or homeward point of departure, we will endeavour to offer what help we reasonably can. We will not be responsible for supplying any extra accommodation or refreshment; the relevant transport provider may do so.

12. Car Hire
Full payment is required at time of booking for car hire reservations.

13. Insurance
All clients must have adequate holiday insurance, which you may arrange with an insurance agent of your choice, as we do not include or issue holiday insurance.
